I was born in La Plata, Argentina, moved to Edmonton, Canada in 2005 where I currently live. I also lived and work as professional designer in Germany in 2003, and in Buenos Aires 1989-2004. | I have a PhD in Human Ecology, Material Culture and Design Studies (2020), and a Master in Visual Communication Design –MDes, University of Alberta 2008, and a BDes in Visual Communication Design, Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) 1994. I am design educator, researcher and practitioner, currently working at the University of Alberta and MacEwan University, in Canada. My areas of expertise are Visual Indentity programs, Interface Design, Information Design and Data Visualizations. My areas of research are Design for Sustainability and Biomimicry. I also work for several projects in the Digital Humanities field in collaboration with the University of Alberta and the INKE –Implementing New Knowledge Environments group. | am co-founder and consultant of Pix Design Buenos Aires, and co-founder of Biomimicry Alberta regional network.
